About gabbis Boutique, and me - gabbi Lilly
Hi! My name is gabbi Lilly. I'm a 2.5 pound Yorkie/Maltese mix. My Mom and Dad adopted me from a lady who works at our local Vets office. My Moms sister-in-heart (thats what they call each other) Susan, had adopted Grace Ann - who just happens to be my real sister, from this same lady. When they got there to pick up Grace Ann, I was waiting to work my magic.
I immediately charmed my way right into Mom and Dads hearts and their home. And now - its so neat because every time my mom gets to see her sister-in-heart - I get to see and play with my sister Grace Ann. Its really a cool arrangement!
Its kind of a long story how gabbis Boutique got started, but I will try to give you just a brief history. First, let me tell you about the family I adopted. I have a sister, Maggie. Shes a Black Lab. I really like her. Its just that she is so big (55 lbs) that Im a little afraid she might not see me and step on me.
I also have a brother, Taylor (22 lbs). He is a Peek-A-Poo. We are best buds and he helps Mom and Dad take really good care of me.
I have two human brothers, Caleb (17) and Seth (15), and they are really who prompted the birth of gabbis Boutique. My brother Caleb got his drivers license and started driving. My mom was crazy with worry. She paced the floor and worried all the time. Her friends and family suggested she find something to help occupy some of the time that he was out driving. Sooooo, she decided to start making clothes for me. See, I am so little that I stay cold all the time, well, unless Im at the beach, which by the way, is mine and Moms favorite place in the whole world!

Once Mom started sewing clothes for me she seemed to stop crying about Caleb quite as much! Whew! Anyway, soon I had way too many outfits and Dad said we were running out of room to store them. He had an idea to contact a couple of local Pet Stores and ask if they might be interested in selling my outfits. Of course I went along to model. Needless to say, they couldnt resist and I was a huge hit - and so were all the designs I inspired!
So... we opened gabbis Boutique and began selling dog clothing. Mom and I are having a great time. She sews new stuff all the time and my poochi pals and I are the talk of the town! And, by the way, Caleb is doing fine with his driving. Now, we have Seth to worry about
.Who knows what Mom will do next?
